  • Quiz responses: If you use our stack recommender quiz, we store anonymized session data to improve recommendations.

  • Analytics: We use privacy-focused analytics (PostHog, EU-hosted) to understand aggregate usage. We collect data on page views, referrers, and country-level location, and do not sell it or use it to track you across other sites.
  • Affiliate clicks: When you click an affiliate link, we log the click (page, vendor, timestamp, country) for conversion tracking. This data is not tied to your identity.

How We Use Your Information

  • To send you the newsletter you subscribed to (you can unsubscribe anytime)
  • To improve our recommendations and content based on aggregate usage patterns
  • To track affiliate conversions for revenue reporting

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell your personal information

  • Vercel: Website hosting
  • Neon: Database hosting (no personal data stored beyond email subscriptions)

  • Request deletion of your personal data
  • Unsubscribe from emails at any time via the link in every email

Data Retention

Email subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Anonymized analytics and click data are retained indefinitely for historical analysis.
